*THIS CHART IS ONLY A PORTION (TOP 30) OF A TOP 50 CHART.
HENCE songs are not deemed to have fallen off the charts UNTIL they are
OUTSIDE/BELOW the top 50 and NOT the top 30 broadcasted on air. This IS
reflected in the year end ‘jamz’ and explains partially why songs peaking
significantly lower than others may still finish ahead of them on the
year-end charts.

Maroon 5, Christina Aguilera’s ‘Jagger’ Moves to No. 1 on Hot 100

by Gary Trust  |   August 31, 2011 3:50 EDT

Christopher Polk/Getty Images for A&M/Octone

CHART HIGHLIGHTS:

– This marks Christina Aguilera’s first leader on the Hot 100 since “Lady Marmalade” (2001).

– Adam Levine sings on two tracks in the top 10.

– Last week’s No. 1, Katy Perry’s “Last Friday Night,” slides 1-5.

– Lady Gaga and Adele enjoyed huge boosts to their singles. VMAs bump?

Maroon 5‘s “Moves Like Jagger,” featuring Christina Aguilera, struts to the top of the Billboard Hot 100, rolling 4-1 with Airplay Gainer honors for a third consecutive week. Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine makes chart headlines of his own, as well, thanks to a leap into the top 10 as a guest on Gym Class Heroes’ “Stereo Hearts.”

“Jagger” returns for a second week at No. 1 on Digital Songs (2-1) with 217,000 downloads sold (up 6%), according to Nielsen SoundScan. OnRadio Songs, the collaboration darts 15-11 with 72 million all-format audience impressions (up 20%), according to Nielsen BDS.

The song marks Maroon 5’s second Hot 100 No. 1. The band previously reigned for three weeks in 2007 with “Makes Me Wonder.” For Aguilera, the return to the chart’s apex ends an even greater hiatus. She had last ruled alongside Lil’ Kim, Mya and P!nk on “Lady Marmalade” for five weeks in 2001. “Jagger” is Aguilera’s fifth Hot 100 No. 1. She banked three leaders from her self-titled debut album in 1999-2000: “Genie in a Bottle,” “What a Girl Wants” and “Come On Over Baby (All I Want Is You).”

The accolades don’t end, however, for Maroon 5’s frontman Adam Levine. He concurrently enters the Hot 100’s top 10 (15-10) as a featured artist on Gym Class Heroes’ “Stereo Hearts.” The track vaults 7-3 on Digital Songs (146,000, up 28%) and 37-23 on Radio Songs (40 million, up 28%).

The ascensions of “Jagger” and “Stereo” grant Levine an unprecedented (and certainly quirky) Hot 100 achievement: he becomes the first artist in the chart’s 53-year history to reach No. 1 as part of a group and enter the top 10 as a soloist in the same week.

Maroon 5 Hopes Next Album Will Quickly Follow ‘Jagger’ Single

“Jagger” dethrones Katy Perry‘s “Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)” from the Hot 100 pinnacle after two weeks at No. 1. The song – the record-setting fifth No. 1 from her album “Teenage Dream” – plummets to No. 5, owed largely to a 4-14 fall on Digital Songs (85,000, down 45%). The song does, however, return (2-1) for a third week atop Radio Songs (133 million, down 4%).

In between “Jagger” and “Friday” on the Hot 100, LMFAO‘s former six-week No. 1 “Party Rock Anthem,” featuring Lauren Bennett and GoonRock, holds at No. 2; Foster the People’s “Pumped Up Kicks” roars 7-3; and, Bad Meets Evil’s “Lighters,” featuring Bruno Mars, rises 6-4.

Rounding out the rest of the Hot 100’s 10 are Nicki Minaj‘s “Super Bass” (5-6); Lil Wayne‘s “How to Love” (8-7); OneRepublic’s “Good Life” (9-8); and, Pitbull‘s former No. 1 “Give Me Everything,” featuring Ne-Yo, Afrojack and Nayer (11-9).

Katy Perry Notches Record Fourth Adult Pop Songs No. 1 From ‘Teenage Dream’

On the doorstep of the Hot 100’s top 10, Rihanna claims Digital Gainer honors with “Cheers (Drink to That),” which soars 17-11. The song bounds 15-5 on Digital Songs (131,000, up 68%), while lifting 19-17 on Radio Songs (52 million, up 13%).

Two titles that make lofty leaps into the Hot 100’s top 20 will likely sport further gains next week following buzz-generating appearances onSunday night’s (Aug. 28) MTV Video Music AwardsLady Gaga‘s “You and I” charges 35-16, up 92% in digital sales (to 109,000) and 50% in airplay (to 32 million). Adele‘s “Someone Like You” similarly soars 34-19 on the Hot 100 with gains in sales (95,000 downloads, up 68%) and radio play (29 million, up 41%).

Eight songs debut on the Hot 100, led by “Hell on Heels” (No. 55) by Miranda Lambert side project Pistol Annies. The song is the title cut from the trio’s debut album, which shoots onto the Billboard 200 at No. 5.

The artist new to the Billboard 200‘s top spot with “The R.E.D. Album,”Game, enters the Hot 100 at No. 100 with a cut from the set, “Martians Vs Goblins.”

Game’s ‘R.E.D.’ Bows at No. 1 on Billboard 200

All charts, including the Hot 100, Digital Songs and Radio Songs will be refreshed tomorrow (Sept. 1) on Billboard.com.

November24

By: Money Miz

This week’s featured “Donkey of The Week” has been long overdue for several months now. I actually contacted her for an interview over the summer, but after going back and forth for a few weeks with some technical difficulties it unfortunately never came into fruition. Between her extremely busy schedule with traveling, photo shoots, performing live and some computer malfunctions our interview just never went down. None-the-less, Maliah Michel has blossomed to be the hottest and most popular urban model in the industry this year and I have some incredible visuals for you all!!! I’ve actually featured her twice in the past year, but she’s done so much work in 2010 that I just had to show her booty beauty off one more time…

Be sure to peep all of Maliah’s beautiful photos and videos after the jump…

This week Maliah has been in the press more so than usual with the controversy over the new Black Men Magazine cover she’s on. (Peep it here.) Apparently, her cover was too revealing and had to be pulled because newsstands threatened to not support it. This development is absolute BULLSHIT, not to mention RACIST. As Bossip.com quickly pointed out, high fashion magazines, which are geared toward filthy rich white women, constantly feature naked, anorexic models on their covers with no fuss at all. Why on earth newsstands had a problem with this cover is very indicative of racism and classism that still exists today. Maliah’s a model just like any one else in this industry!!! Plus, this cover is really not bad at all!!! #FuckTheBullshit.

Maliah’s beauty caught the attention of Drake this summer, as he featured her as the lead model in the music video for his huge hit single “Find Your Love.” (Watch the video here.) Rumors hit the net that these two were dating, but we’ll never really know if the rumors were true. Regardless, Maliah was catapulted into the lime light after this video hit all major media. (33 Million YouTube views ain’t bad at all!!!) One thing I’ll NEVER say about Drake is that he has bad taste in women!!! Between featuring Maliah in this video and Rosa Acosta in his “Best I Ever Had” video, he definitely has impeccable taste in women.

Maliah Michel is not only one of the illest models and video vixens in the game, but she’s also one of the greatest exotic dancers in the country. She’s a frequent dancer at Dreams Gentlemens Club in Houston, Texas and has been known to dance with her friends, Cubana Lust and Ms. LaStarya (two of our favorite “Donkey of The Week” models). I have yet to make it out there to catch them, but the fellas and I have that trip on the schedule for 2011. I might actually pass out from all that booty jiggling in my face…

Maliah’s body is truly incredible. Her figure is what men around the world dream of with measurements including a 34 inch bust, 25 inch waist, and a mesmerizing smooth and solid 45 inch donkey booty. It really doesn’t get any better than this, especially with such a pretty face to match her radiant body. What makes Maliah even more remarkable is her dancing talent. Most women with donkeys this size simply don’t know how to shake what their mama’s gave them. Well, Maliah certainly has mastered the art of the booty shake…

http://www.worldstarhiphop.com/videos/e/16711680/wshhPWm8D8KmZk9nFNWC

If the video above didn’t get your pussy wet, well there’s no hope for you!!! In addition to everything going on in Maliah’s career, she’s also the C.E.O. of Maliah Entertainment. Her official website iswww.MaliahMichel.com and she has some insane exclusive content there for everyone to enjoy including photos, videos, DVDs, calendars and more, which are all too hot for most media outlets!!! Do yourselves a favor and check out her site. It’s well worth it.

I’m fully confident that we’ll all be seeing quite a lot more of the beautiful Maliah Michel going into 2011. She’ll continue to be featured in the hottest mens magazines, online publications, and music videos and HipHopAndBS.com will most definitely keep y’all up-to-date on everything Maliah. Hopefully, next time we’ll be able to get that interview in and discuss all the naughty things y’all know you’re wondering about!!!
