DJ DIphoeniX’s top 20 Jamz – EVERY FRIDAY!!!..[the hottest songs on urban & pop radio] + updates on the Billboard Hot 100 & Jamaican Music Charts {June 5 – 11, 2009}

SplashCast will be discontinuing its free service for publishers effective 12:00 AM June 1, 2009. We’ve made this decision given our focus on developing our “Social TV” product and expanding our TV application network. Three months ago, we asked you (our publishing community), whether you would be willing to pay for the service. The vast majority answered “no.” Furthermore, among those willing to pay, the average amount was extremely low. We discussed this in more detail in an earlier blog post. Additionally, advertising is not a realistic option. We’ve explored several approaches. While we love your content, advertisers aren’t willing to pay a reasonable price to sponsor it [As an aside, this is the issue that YouTube faces on a monumental scale.] Beyond subscription fees and advertising, we’ve spent a lot of time thinking about other, more creative, approaches. The unfortunate conclusion is that continuing our free service does not make business sense (we even considered a public broadcasting-like pledge drive). We’ve listened. We’ve thought creatively. We’ve weighed the alternatives. We’ve slept on it. In terms of alternatives, you might check out a service called Embedr. Here is a recent review on the ReadWriteWeb blog. If you know of other services, please let us know. Thanks for being a part of the SplashCast community. This is a tough (and sad) decision for us. We hope that you can understand that, as a startup, we have to focus.
The SplashCast Team

The stunning beautiful Sandee Westgate (that smile!) was posing with fans at the AVN Expo 2006 at The Venetian in Las Vegas. She is so popular that no way I could get near her. I thank Nikon for inventing lenses with Vibration Reduction, so that I could make nice shots of her from a distance

    Lady GaGa Takes Two Top 10 Spots On Billboard’s Hot 100
    Lady GaGa

    Lady GaGa soars into the top 10 with her third single, “LoveGame,” as Keri Hilson and Sean Kingston also break into the top tally on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week.

    “LoveGame” flies up from No. 22 to No. 10 and scores this week’s greatest digital gain (107,000 downloads, a jump of 39%). Lady GaGa’s “Poker Face” remains at No. 2 this week, behind the Black Eyed Peas’ reigning chart-topper “Boom Boom Pow.”

    Keri Hilson’s “Knock You Down,” featuring Kanye West and Ne-Yo, scores the week’s biggest airplay gain to climb from No. 13 to No. 7 on the chart. Sean Kingston’s “Fire Burning” hits No. 9, scoring his third top 10 on the chart.

    Elsewhere in the top 10, Pitbull’s “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” rises two spots to No. 3, Jeremih’s “Birthday Sex” jumps five spots to No. 4, “Blame It” by Jamie Foxx featuring T-Pain drops two spots to No. 5, Beyonce’s “Halo” rises two spots to No. 6, and Kid Cudi’s “Day ‘N’ Nite”
    drops one spot to No. 8.

    Rascal Flatts’ “Summer Nights” races into the chart at No. 80, making it the week’s top debut. Also flying high are Shinedown’s “Second Chance,” at No. 11, Drake’s “Best I Ever Had,” which zooms from No. 60 to No. 18, and Kristinia Debarge’s “Goodbye,” up 13 spots to No. 20. Kanye West’s “Amazing,” featuring Young Jeezy, gets an assist from its use in the NBA playoff promos, jumping from No. 99 to No. 86.

    On the Adult Contemporary tally, new “American Idol” champion Kris Allen rises 27-26 with his victory song “No Boundaries,” while seventh-season contestant Michael Johns bullets at No. 27 with “Heart on My Sleeve.”

    Crossover country queen Taylor Swift scores her eighth top 10 on the Hot Country Songs chart, just 30 months after her first (“Tim McGraw,” December 2006), as “You Belong With Me” shoots 13-10. Following-up his record 44th Country No. 1, George Strait roars in with Hot Shot Debut accolades at No. 34 with “Living for the Night.” “Living” previews Strait’s next set, “Twang,” due this fall.

    Country veteran Wynonna enters the Hot Dance Club Play chart at No. 36 with “Sing,” courtesy of dance mixes serviced to club DJs. The tune — which was overhauled by producers such as Jody Den Broeder, Pete Hammond and the Almighty team — is Wynonna’s first Club chart hit.
