  18. Wow!
    You’ve GOT to be kidding!
    “I Will Always Love You”?
    The BEST ALL-TIME R&B Ballad???
That’s not even the best WHITNEY HOUSTON ballad, by a long shot!
Even Whitney Houston doesn’t think so, I bet.
If this is your personal list, you must be pretty young.
Anyway, I applaud you for trying.

  19. thx great songs

  20. curiosity by aaron hall was another one of the greats of the 90’s

    • Aaron Hall in my opinion was one of the most underrated singers of the 90s. His voice and songs were as good or better than most.

      • Ye he is underrated especially as a solo artiste. I would like to think though that persons who know about “Guy” will have a good sense of of his voice because that group was very popular and he was their lead singer.

  21. How about “I’ll Never Find Someone Like You” by Keith Martin

  22. Great stuff. I’m writing tonight but I’ll be back to explore. I’m often looking for music lists.

    Bud aka Older Eyes

  24. I am looking for a song. It’s by a man. It talks about him coming back into town and going by her house but no one knew her name. I cant remember the words used in the song. But its about him looking for her.

    • Avant: get away
      I’m back again
      in this town
to find this girl that I used to know
      I bumped into
      a friend of hers
and she told me where to go

  35. do you know who made the rap song “shot out” in the 80’s

  36. First off, none of this rap/r&b/and so-called hip hop thats out now,can even hang with the 80s-mid 90sish music. Three songs ive seen left out of a lot of these r&b lists are:H-Town-Knockin Da Boots,Raab-Foreplay and Jodeci-If You Think Youre Lonely Now. Most of the hip hop/rap ones are fairly accurate with the exception of Ed OG and Da BULLDOGS-Gotta Have It.

    • I definitely agree with you.

      • you knw da song wit da lyrics ‘lets call this day our anniversary- The day I put my heart in yo hands and said it wuz yours to keep- And from this moment on you will always be mine’. And da chorus goes ‘(Baby it’s you) the way you walk, the way you talk, the way you say my name…….. Just wanna b yours- from this day forward’. Who is dat by anyway cuz I can not think of his name?

      • jesse powell – you

  44. I’m looking for a song Wherever you go, whatever you do, I will be right here waiting for you, but it’s not the original version, it’s a version lightly speed up, a rapper rapping and a lightly singing chipmunk between the strofes, can anyone help me please? I’m looking for this song since months ! please !

  46. Trying to find the name of the female artist who sung the song called Dream Lover song came out in the 80’s it was not Mariah Carrey.

    • it’s probably either:
      liz hogue – dream lover

      or

richard rogers – (i’ll be your) dream lover

  47. Common Vs Drake, has reminded us all of why fueds in Hip Hop are healthy. some new hip hop artistsjust don’t have that edge that artists a decade ago had.
